Planetside 2 – E3 Presentation Goes To War

One of the many nice things to drop into my inbox yesterday was a video for forthcoming MMOFPS Planetside 2. Taken from the game’s E3 presentation, it goes into lots of detail about the new toys we’ll be getting to play with.

A brief run down of the three playable factions, their equipment and vehicles should help us decide which side we want to fight for – I’m leaning towards the Vanu Sovereignty at the moment. There’s also some info on the game’s customisation options, which cover everything from weapons to vehicle loadouts, and the video also details the game’s in-built social networking and team options, which should be great for clans.

Yes, you too could kit your entire clan out in zebra-print camo, and then stare at your stats on the game’s website. What more could you possibly want? Tanks? Aircraft? Guns? You’ll get all those as well!

Beta signup is open, but sadly it has yet to start. I’ve already signed up and am waiting impatiently – I rather shamefully missed out on the first Planetside, and I’m determined not to miss the second!
